This one thinks she's producing Phantom of the Opera
but she's only seen it from the audience.
She thinks
the more equipment she uses
the better the show will be.

Every year she has another trite idea
and messes it in with the rest.
She's the Microsoft Word
of primary school end of year concerts.

The show runs for 3 hours
without interval.
The polite audience
lasts for 30 minutes.

By the 165th minute
the only thing keeping parents
from taking themselves to the back of the hall
to scream
is the rippling mass
of youngest children
venting frustration for them.
